Difference between Saber and Conocer
The difference is:
Conocer: Be familiar with a person or a place.
Saber: Related to the knowledge of a fact or information. Having the ability to do things.
When to use Conocer
You can use this verb in three different ways:
1. When you have had previous contact with a person or place
- Conozco a Pedro (I know Pedro)
- ¿Conoces a Sandra? (Do you know Sandra?/Have you met Sandra?)
2. When we’ve already visited a place
- Diego conoce un buen lugar para comer (Diego knows a good place to eat)
- Conozco un museo que te encantará (I know a museum that you’ll love)
3. When you meet someone for the first time
